Spring is waterfall season on the North Shore. You can choose from a variety of waterfalls to explore as you drive up the shore. The tallest waterfall in the state is High Falls on the Pigeon River in the Grand Portage State Park. For an easy viewing, check out Cross River Falls, where you can listen to the waterfall roar from a bridge over the river.
