Spring is here in Cook County but you can still find ice on the inland lakes. Caribou Lake iced out on April 12th. The earliest ice out date for Caribou was April 3, 2012. The latest ice out date was May 19, 1996. The DNR has a map where you can see all of the ice out dates across the whole state for the current year and for previous years: https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/ice_out/index.html
Wherever you live, if you want to see how much ice is left, you can check out the webcams throughout Cook County: https://www.visitcookcounty.com/webcams/
