Through the rest of August and September, you can visit the Bally Blacksmith Shop in Grand Marais on Fridays and Saturday from 1-4pm. There will be one last demonstration on September 24th & 25th, from 11am-2pm.
Sam Bally started the business in 1911 and it was active until the 1990’s. It was added to the National Register of Historical Places in 1986.
