Sunday January 29th is the start of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, the Beargrease 120 and the Beargrease 40. All three races will start at Billy’s Bar in Duluth. Each race finishes on a different day and in a different location. The race began in 1980 and the marathon is a qualifier for the Iditarod in Alaska.
