This weekend is the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon! Due to some recent extra warm temperatures melting down the snow base, the start of the race had to be moved to Two Harbors. The race will begin on Sunday March 2nd. You have an opportunity to meet the mushers and their dogs, starting at 8am. There are three race lengths, the 40, the 120 and the marathon. The 40 will finish at ‘The Pit’ in Two Harbors on March 2nd. The 120 will finish at Trestle Inn in Finland on March 3rd. And the marathon will finish at the Grand Portage Lodge & Casino on March 4th.
